Richie Ryan’s CentreStage Arts Academy is Limerick’s and the regions most progressive performing arts schools. Established in 1996. This school has grown from strength to strength. Offering a wide variety of classes in Dance, Acting, Group and Individual Singing, TV & Film Acting. We cater for Adults, Teenagers (14+), Youths (11+), Juniors (7+) and Tots (5+).  We offer SMALL Class sizes. Gifted and dedicated tutors are a hallmark of the School. CentreStage prides itself in being student lead and performance driven. CentreStage Arts Academy is located in the Redemptorist Centre Of Music (SATURDAYS) and DELTA SPORTS DOME COMPLEX, Ballysimon Road, Limerick  (FRIDAYS) offering easy access and free parking.

We enforce a very stringent Child Protection Policy for the safety of our students and teachers..

The following students have taken further study in DRAMA, DANCE TV & FILM or SINGING or have secured a career and further experience in Theatre having studied at CentreStage.

Amanda Minihan: Amanda continued her training at Mountview and was in the cast of BLOOD BROTHERS on the West End, London. Amanda was in the origional cast in the West End production of The Producers and is currently on a national tour 0f The Producers

Ian McGlynn: Continued his studies at The Central, London has recently is touring as principle singer with RIVERDANCE and now works for RTÉ Lyricfm.

Pat Ryan; Continued his studies at Trinity and appeared in many productions including ALONE IT STANDS

Brian McCann: Continued his studies at Mountview and has appeared in some west End Productions including Phantom of The Opera and National tours. He is currently playing THE PHANTOM on the West End.

Shona Daly: Appeared in The BEAUTIFUL GAME and recently released a single. SHONA appeared as Eponine in Les Miserables on The west End and is currently in DIRTY DANCING in London.

Andrew Adamson: Continued his Theatre studies at Trinity College , Dublin. Andrew has completed a degree in Theatre Studies at Trinity He is now a working actor.

Niamh Bowen: Recently appeared with The Island Theatre Company with a national tour of LOVERS and is a member of Impact Theatre Company

Jeffery Rocket. Is an active member of GYT and is studying in UCG. currently studying at UCG

Helena Enright: Completed at MA in Theatre studies at UCC. Cork, Ireland and has written a number of award winning plays. Helena is currently a PHD Candidate in EXETOR University UK and is Founder of ‘AMALGAMOTION’ Theatre Company, Limerick.

John Walsh. John is currently studying performance, acting and dance in the UK John has secured a role in the World Tour with Mama Mia John is currently in CHICAGO on the west End.

Lucy McBride: Lucy has just finished a touring production of SHAKERS and is currently studying Theatre in Trinity

Anne Blake; Anne is a founder of IMPACT THEATRE COMPANY

Karen Fitzgibbon has played may leading roles in Film and on stage. Karen is a founder of TESPACH THEATRE COMPANY. Limerick

Jessica Bray; Jessica has just started a full time Musical theatre course in Guilford College (London) and recently appeared in Killnascully on RTE Television.

Gemma Byrnes. Jemma has completed a masters degree in Theatre Studies in UCC.

Kevin Kiely: Kevin is currently studying at Gilford, London and has appeared in Killnaskully, RTE

Miriam Ball: Miriam runs a very successful Dance School in Kilmalock, Co Limerick.

Conor J Ryan has finished filming the juvenile lead role of David in Element Films production of ‘GARAGE’ starring Pat Shortt and many well known Irish actors. Winning film at Canes Film Festival nd due for general release in Autumn 2007. This film has been received at the TORONTO International Film Festival, The London International Film Festival

ADULT students have played leading roles with The Quarry Players, The College Players, Impact Theatre Company Tespach Theatre Company and The Island Theatre Company.

Adult Students have played lead roles with The Limerick Musical Society, Cecilian Musical Society, Shannon Musical Society, and Ennis Musical Society.

Conor O’Brien (Age 13) played a lead role in THE FULL MONTY in UCH.

Paul McGowan has just completed the one year postgraduate course in Musical Theatre at Mountview, London

Stephen Ryan is a past student and later tutor at CentreStage and has completed a BA Performing Arts Degree at Mountview, London

Hollie O’Donoghue, appeared in FAME the Musical on RTE  is currently a tutor at CentreStage and is currently studying at The London College of Musical Theatre

Past Adult students founded TEASPACH Theatre Company. Limerick.

Past Students have set up ‘HISTORONICS’ Theatre Company, Limerick

Children students have played roles with The Island Theatre Company, The Limerick Musical Society, Cecilian Musical Society and many local Drama Groups.

Many past students have appeared on RTÉ Television with Pat Shortt in Killanascully and MATTIE and CrimeLine and with CentreStage Pantomime Productions.

Beth Brickendon is currently studing DRAMA at DIT, Dublin

Kevin O.Malley is currently studying DRAMA at DIT Dublin

Erica Murray is currently studing Theatre studies at Trinity College Dublin

Terry O’Donovan is currently a scriptwriter and has produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
